Are cracks and openings around your garage door creating a big chill and mess at your house? Are leaves and debris blowing in? Are hoards of insects and rodents coming and going at will?
Then, it’s time to stop the mess, the pests and "old man winter" at the point where they enter. It's time to install weather-stripping around your garage door. You can buy vinyl seals in rolls or kit form or you can try our homemade recipe.

If only the bottom needs sealing, slit a piece of garden hose lengthwise and staple or nail it to seal the lower edge of the door.
If you live in a cold climate, winter snow and ice create a mess when they melt. Keep them beneath the car by gluing weather-stripping or rubber hose to the floor with construction adhesive. This will confine the mess and channel it back outside.
You’ll end the mess, keep out the pests, stop the big chill and save energy dollars to boot.
