Wrapping Trees for Winter Protection

Now's the time to be thinking about protecting your newly planted or young trees from winter damage due to rabbits, rodents or deer feeding on the bark and trunks.

There are a number of different types of tree wraps available, including brown kraft paper that animals will not chew on.

We also use a number of different plastic covers depending on the size of the trunk and age of the tree.

Trees should be wrapped before the end of October in our region, or sooner depending on weather conditions.
