This is one of my favorite late spring flowers in the garden.  You will get a full 6 weeks of bloom with interesting seed head after that.  These are a little more expensive, but worth the investment, since they come back reliably year after year!

Plumbago is a bit of a sleeper plant in the garden: It just sits there all spring and summer, then suddenly erupts into color in late July or early August. The show starts with a display of attractive true-blue flowers that sit daintily upon the foliage. Once the blooms begin to appear, they continue on and off until hard frost. 

Rex begonia offers colorful foliage and is one of the most interesting indoor plants around. Despite its exotic looks, Rex begonia is actually easy to grow. Because it's a relatively short houseplant, Rex begonia is perfect for desks and tabletops where is wildly colorful, variegated foliage makes it a perfect contrast against other houseplants.

Very vigorous and quite trailing. It is good in both landscapes and containers. It has very large flowers with excellent weather tolerance. It will function as a spiller in containers and is best used at the front of beds.

The large flowers of Rebecca are a stunning shade of red and bloom from early to late summer. Reaches a height of 6-8' in the garden and covers an arbor or trellis beautifully. Give it just a light prune in early spring.

Diamantina is an exceptional, free-flowering clematis with 4-6" pom-pom-like blue double flowers, each lasting up to 4 weeks. Repeat flowering throughout summer.

Burgundy red sword-like leaves offer great texture and color. Use as a focal point in the landscape or in large containers surrounded by bright flowered perennials and silver foliage. Develops a trunk with age. Fragrant white flowers top the stems in early summer. A frost-tender evergreen; treat as an annual in cold winter regions.

A truly easy-to-grow clematis! Abundant light purple flowers with magenta undertones cover this clematis all summer long. Creamy white stamens provide charming contrast. This Jackmanii hybrid is a vigorous grower, yet maintains a nice compact size that is perfect for training on fences or trellises. It flowers on new wood so you simply prune it back to two feet each spring.

It's a super easy-to-grow clematis with great color and large flowers! Velvety plum-purple flowers with intriguing center highlights and bright yellow stamens characterize this version of the ever-popular 'Jackmanii' clematis. This early and long-flowering beauty blooms from mid-summer into fall, and is noted for its intense purple flower color and large (3-5" blooms). It flowers on new wood and old wood so you simply prune it back to 2 feet each spring. Winner of a Green Thumb award from the Direct Gardening Association.
